What We Do

Our American Wagyu Akaushi and Angus Cattle are raised at our farm just a few miles outside Joplin, Missouri. We are nestled amongst lush pastures and natural water sources. We believe in the humane treatment of our livestock, with the best interest of the animal and land in mind at all times.


If you are ever looking for Mr. Roger Hines, owner of our farm in the little village of Waco, Missouri, he usually can be found with his horse, Question in the pastures with his cattle. If you ask Roger to describe one of his favorite days at his farm, he’ll tell you it is riding horses alongside his daughters and grand kids.


Roger is 100% hands on at his farm and it is evident in the quality of cattle that are raised. He works alongside his crew each day to ensure that only the best selections of beef make it to our customers.


In June of 2026, our farm was recognized by the American Akaushi Association in the first ever Branded Beef Challenge as the Reserve Champion in the F2 Akaushi Category. In addition to that, in 2025 our farm was also recognized for its promotion of the Akaushi Breed, genetics and growth within the industry when they were awarded the American Akaushi Association Prime+ Award. Industry recognition has been quite an honor for us.


Our selection standards are exceptionally high when it comes to genetics. We are one the few establishments raising and retailing American Wagyu Akaushi beef in the Midwest.  Farm-raised meat has a huge advantage over meat purchased at supermarkets as it contains higher levels of antioxidants like Vitamin E and beta-carotene, which protect cells from damage due to free radicals.

We can proudly claim the following:

  • We DNA verify all our Akaushi Cattle through the American Akaushi Association.
  • Our cattle are fed an all-natural diet.
  • They are grass fed and grain finished with no animal by-products from mammalian and avian sources.
  • We do not believe in the use of natural or synthetic hormones, estrus suppressants, beta antagonists or other synthetic growth promotants or hormones through feed, water or by injection/ear tags. This includes feeding Rumensin®.
  • No antibiotics, including low-level (sub-therapeutic) or therapeutic level doses and sulfonamides through feed, water or injection are given to our cattle.
  • We maintain meticulous herd management records for each animal from birth to harvest… and to your doorstep.
